New Season Treatment Center Invites Community to Nov. 5 Ribbon Cutting for Mobile Opioid Treatment Unit in Yulee
Fourth “On the Road to Recovery” unit helps bring treatment closer to patients in Nassau County and the Jacksonville area
New Season Treatment Center invites community members, health care partners and news media to a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Nov. 5, celebrating its fourth On the Road to Recovery mobile medication unit. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gracie’s Kitchen, 6 Koen Lane in Yulee. The program begins at noon.
Deployed earlier this year, the Yulee unit helps people access treatment for opioid use disorder closer to where they live. It operates as an extension of New Season’s Jacksonville Metro Treatment Center. The unit has two medication dispensing windows and offers opportunities to begin treatment, crisis counseling and telehealth support, helping address transportation and scheduling barriers to care. Learn more about the unit’s deployment and services.
Guests can tour the unit, meet New Season team members and learn how mobile opioid treatment supports people seeking recovery. Refreshments will be available.
