New Season Treatment Center<\/a> is launching its fourth mobile medication unit, \u201cOn the Road to Recovery<\/em>,\u201d today, bringing critically needed opioid addiction treatment services directly to communities in the Jacksonville area. The unit will begin operations at 904 Health<\/a>, 96040 Lofton Square Court, Yulee, FL 32097<\/a>, with daily service Monday through Saturday from 6:00\u202fa.m. to 8:00\u202fa.m.<\/strong>, and will operate as an extension of the Jacksonville Metro Treatment Center<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yulee-based mobile unit is New Season Treatment Center\u2019s fourth deployed \u201cOn the Road to Recovery\u201d clinic, joining three other mobile care units currently making Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) more accessible across the country. Patients are already being served in Portland, Ore., and Greensboro, N.C., while a unit in Rockland, Maine, is scheduled to begin seeing patients soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent data<\/a> underscores the urgent need for these services: in 2025, Jacksonville recorded 221 overdose deaths, a significant improvement from 472 in 2022, yet the region continues to face a serious opioid crisis. Duval County residents experienced thousands of unintentional overdoses in the past several years, highlighting the importance of expanding mobile, community-based treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur mission has always been to bring treatment to the communities that need it most,\u201d Amanda Hudak<\/a>, vice president of operations, said. \u201cBy launching this mobile unit in Yulee, we are making recovery more accessible for individuals who may face transportation or scheduling challenges. With two units already in operation and another coming to Maine, we are expanding our reach to support even more patients on their journey to recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like New Season\u2019s other mobile treatment units<\/a>, the Yulee stop will provide essential services including daily dosing of FDA\u2011approved medications (such as methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone\u00ae) through two dosing windows, on\u2011site intake opportunities to begin the recovery process, crisis counseling, and convenient virtual care via telehealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mobile unit initiative reflects New Season\u2019s mission to expand access to high\u2011quality, patient\u2011centered care in underserved regions.
