The shame of addiction shouldn\u2019t prevent individuals from seeking help or helping others in their community.<\/p>\n<p>At New Season, we support the education of treating addiction as a disease. We want to stop the stigma and give our patients the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newseason.com\/treatment-services\/\">best treatment programs<\/a> to help them overcome addiction.<\/p>\n<p>First Call, an alcohol and drug prevention and recovery organization based in Kansas City, created a series of ads that speak to stopping the social stigma and negative connotations associated with individuals struggling with addiction. These powerful non-profit ads help people understand that addiction is a disease, not a choice and not a personal weakness.
